Privacy and analytics choices

When you send an enquiry

The form sends your name, email, company, selected service, optional timing and message to the private inquiry service, which saves an encrypted copy before requesting an email notification through Resend. A saved reference confirms capture, not email delivery or a qualified opportunity. Cloudflare Turnstile processes verification information to protect the form from spam. I use this information to respond, assess project fit and discuss the work. Please leave out passwords, sensitive customer information and confidential files. You can also contact me directly by email.

You may optionally tell me how you found my work, including whether you came from the LinkedIn Company Page or my personal profile. Your selected answer accompanies the enquiry and may be kept with it under the same retention policy to understand acquisition sources. It is self-reported, is not prefilled from browsing activity, and is not sent to Google Analytics. You can leave it blank.

The hosting and email providers process information through their systems. See Resend’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Verification is separate from optional analytics. The inquiry reference is shown on this page; form contents, verification tokens and references are not included in the website’s analytics events. See the Google privacy policy for email and optional analytics. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or require analytics consent.

Enquiry retention and requests

I delete enquiries that do not become projects from my working mailbox and lead records after 90 days from the last substantive exchange. This is a manual process, not automatic deletion by the website. Information needed for an active project, a contract or applicable record-keeping requirements is handled separately. Copies held by service providers or in backups follow their own retention processes.

Email me to ask about access, correction or deletion of your enquiry information. I may need to verify that the request relates to you. Do not send additional sensitive documents with the initial request.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is off until you choose “Accept analytics.” If you accept, Google can receive page and interaction information and set analytics cookies. The website records an accepted form submission as an enquiry event, without adding your form contents to that event. An accepted submission is not a qualified lead or a sale.

Rejecting analytics does not affect the form or your ability to browse. Use Analytics choices to change your choice. Withdrawing consent disables analytics, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page; it does not delete information previously sent to Google. If your browser blocks preference storage, your choice may last only for the current page.

Your analytics choice is stored locally in this browser. No advertising tags are configured by this website. Page addresses sent by the site's Google tag omit query strings and fragments; please avoid putting personal information in campaign links. Hosting, fonts and external links

GitLab Pages hosts this website. Hosting providers may process technical request information to deliver and protect their services. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which involves a connection to Google's servers even if analytics is rejected. Analytics choices do not block hosting, fonts, or the form service when you submit.

Links to LinkedIn, WhatsApp and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. This notice does not claim a particular data residency, regulatory certification or control over those providers.
